Many organizations develop their own project management methodologies. These methodologies are usually product and industry specific and capture the knowledge and best practices that exist in the company. Through its alliance with ProjectCentric, ProjectLink has access to the ProjectCentric methodologies.  The benefit of the ProjectCentric Methodologies is that it encapsulates international best practices and draws on many years of experience from industry types such as mining, information technology, marketing, training, telecommunications, human resources development, and financial services.

CENTRIX is a complete project management toolset for successfully delivering projects in any industry.  The CENTRIX Methodology was developed and refined on dozens of projects from a variety of sectors including mining, IT, manufacturing, marketing, human resources, financial services, and telecommunications.
The most important feature of CENTRIX is that it caters for projects both from the seller and the buyer’s perspective i.e., both the client and the contractor can use CENTRIX to manage their projects.

CENTRIX has a dual purpose.  It is firstly a toolbox that can be used by an individual Project Manager to manage projects in an organization, even if that organization is not very mature in its project management.

Secondly, it can be used as part of a process to establish project management as a way of working within an organization that is embarking on an initiative to entrench project management.  The latter is often done as part of establishing a Project Management Office (PMO).

CENTRIX does not only cater for the high-level business process of managing projects, it drills down to the detail of day-to-day project management and includes techniques such as earned value management as a recommended practice to all project managers.
The Project Management Office (PMO) is a strategic tool in the hands of management to ensure that all the projects in the business are under control.

The PMO gives a centralized view of project costs, resources, and risks; it is the center of project implementation and ensures that all the projects are under control and that they are delivering benefit to the organization.

The PMO Methodology was developed from experiences in setting up and operating a number of PMO’s in diverse industries.  This methodology covers all the aspects of the PMO and is a fail-safe way of ensuring strategic alignment of projects with the organization’s strategy.  The methodology comprises the following modules:

ProjectLink provides an integrated solution to its clients that caters for all the facets of the PMO, from change management to enterprise software systems.
