ProjectLink Professional Services

ProjectLink’s Professional Services involve all the offerings provided by our consultants to clients.  Our consultants make use of international project management standards such as the Project Management Institute’s A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide), the Office of Government Commerce’s (OGC) PRINCE2, and the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering’s (AACEI) Skills and Knowledge of Cost Engineering.

ProjectLink’s consultants are well qualified and experienced project managers with the ability to impart knowledge to clients. Our consultants assist clients on a wide variety of project management related aspects. Our consulting services include the following:

  • PMO Development – development of a Project Management Office using the ProjectCentric PMO Methodology.
  • Maturity Assessments – facilitation of a project management
    maturity assessment using the PMI’s OPM3 model.
  • Methodology Development – development of customized
    project management methodologies or customization of the
    ProjectCentric CENTRIX methodology to suit customer needs

ProjectLink employs experienced project managers who can assist clients with managing their projects or take full control of the management of the project.  Our project managers will ensure that the project is set up in the best possible way with a well defined project plan.  We will also ensure that project controls are defined and implemented to highlight deviations from the baseline early on and take corrective actions to manage such deviations in the best possible way.

Our project and programme managers are audited at regular intervals to ensure that they are following our prescribed standards and that they are delivering value to the client.



Project Controllers play an important role on a project and takes responsibility for recording and reporting the progress on a project.  Project Controllers would typically be responsible for updating the project schedule on a regular basis and reporting the project progress using Earned Value methods.



Project Scheduling involves facilitating the development of a project Work Breakdown Structure and developing a project schedule.  This also involves the estimation of the resources, duration, and work required to perform the scheduled work.



Project administration involves all the supporting functions that are associated with a project.  This typically includes the following: scheduling of meetings and workshops

  • Document control
  • Project filing
  • Project reporting
  • Schedule updates
  • Taking minutes of meetings.
